Enter the Amateur Beekeepers Association website at www.beekeepers.asn.au
Find your club via the Clubs tab and scroll down within the Goulburn page until you reach ‘Apply to Join’.
You will be asked to pay the compulsory ABA Capitation Fee of $25 and the annual Club Membership fee of $15.
** Personal accident insurance is included with membership. HOWEVER, the public liability insurance is charged as an optional extra at $15.
ALL members are covered by a group policy providing cover for personal accidents incurred while involved in beekeeping activities.
Members who opt to purchase the optional public liability insurance are named on a group policy and get a personalised certificate of currency.
- You must purchase the optional public liability insurance if you wish to become a swarm collector.
- If you would like to register as a ‘Swarm Collector’ you must be registered with Department of Primary Industry AND take out insurance.
- As a hobby beekeeper, you must be registered with the Department of Primary Industry http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/animals-and-livestock/bees/beekeeper-registration

When you are renewing your membership on-line you may need to access the Amateur Beekeepers Association website at http://www.beekeepers.asn.au
However, recently, the ABA has introduced a NEW way of renewing membership.
As such, the ABA has distributed emails to all members with a handy link to renew membership.
