JOINING / RENEWING: Goulburn District Beekeepers Club.

New Members or Renewals after more than 3months lapsed membership.

Enter the Amateur Beekeepers Association website at www.beekeepers.asn.au  Scroll down the page until you reach ‘Apply to Join’.

Then choose Goulburn Club and Current Year.

You will be guided through the process of applying to join.

Once this has happened, you will be asked to pay the compulsory ABA Capitation Fee and the Club Membership fee.

You can then decide if you would also like insurance cover.

If you do want insurance you must be registered with the Department of Primary Industry  http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/animals-and-livestock/bees/beekeeper-registration .

If you would like to register as a ‘Swarm Collector’ you must be registered with Department of Primary Industry AND take out insurance.

Membership renewals.

When you are renewing your membership on-line you will need to access the Amateur Beekeepers Association website at http://www.beekeepers.asn.au

Sign In using the ‘Sign In’ icon and you will be asked to create a password.

Once you have created your password, you will be guided through the membership renewal and payment process.

Ensure you are renewing for the Goulburn Club and for Current Year.

You can pay using a Paypal Account, or a credit card.

 

You will also be able to check or update your information if your details have changed, so that you don’t miss out in information being sent to Goulburn Club member or ABA members.

Annual Fees.

Amateur Beekeepers Association Compulsory Capitation Fee. If paid before 31st December, Early Bird Fee is $45; 1 January  – 30 June is $50; 30 June  - 31st December is $25.

Goulburn District Beekeepers Club Fees. Paid between 1 January and 30th June is $15;   30th June to year end is $7.50.

Insurance.

If you own 1 -20 Hives Insurance will cost  $45 (Early Bird) if you pay prior to 31st December; $50 if you pay between 1 January – 30 June; and $25 if you pay between 30th June and the end of the year.

If you own between 1 – 50 Hives Insurance will cost $65.

If you own between 1 – 100 Hives Insurance will cost you $80.

Is valid for 2 years.

You can register as a Business $100.; Recreational: $60; or as a Concession $40 (Seniors).

Remember to record your DPI registration number in the Paysubs system where your membership details are kept.

Your registration number will be printed on your membership card if provided.

Also don’t forget to put your registration number on your hive(s).
